20110411: Just finished a fantastic, and engaging, expose of what happened in the sub-prime mortgage meltdown. It's called "The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine" by Michael Lewis, and is an amazing look at what happened and how easily it could happen again. Also by Michael Lewis: Liar's Poker .

 
20110315: I've tackled the BIG one now. I'm wading through The Leverage Space Trading Model: Reconciling Portfolio Management Strategies and Economic Theory (Wiley Trading) by Ralph Vince  
20110310: It's serious business this week. I'm reading Perry Kaufman's New Trading Systems and Methods (Wiley Trading)  
20110301: I'm enjoying a fictional work this week called Cutting for Stone It's about a surgeon in Ethiopia.  

20110109: This week I'm enjoying a little light reading on my Kindle 3G Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 3G Works Globally, Graphite, 6" Display with New E Ink Pearl Technology . I heard an interview on KPBS with the author Lee Child, and he sounded so interesting, and so did his main character, that I bought the first 7 books in the "Reacher" series. I'm now on number 2, "Die Trying." In addition to the stress of the markets, and the stress of constantly evaluating new systems, I enjoy the stress of murder mysteries and spy novels. This is a good one.
